SHANDON SAHM'S "SAHM COVERS SAHM" CD RELEASE PARTY

Shandon Sahm is the son of legendary cult rocker Doug Sahm of Sir Douglas Quintet and Texas Tornados fame, and former drummer of the Meat Puppets. Originally from Texas, Shandon relocated to Amsterdam around the same time he left the Meat Puppets in 2018. While in Amsterdam, he recorded an EP comprised of five of his father's classics entitled “Sahm Covers Sahm.” As part of the “Sahm Covers Sahm” tour, he is.... returning to Texas and San Antonio to pay tribute to his father, the iconic Doug Sahm. TexPop is excited to be hosting Shandon Sahm’s “Sahm Covers Sahm” CD release party. He will perform live, engage in storytelling, and be available for questions, autographs and photos afterwards. TexPop’s extensive Doug Sahm collection will also be on exhibit.
