GALLERY EVENTS EXHIBITS

TexPop San Antonio Museum of Popular Culture collects, conserves, and exhibits vintage posters and live music memorabilia to educate future generations on the unique culture that makes up San Antonio and Texas.
With locations in San Antonio, South Austin and Alpine, we seek to enrich a growing and changing community by becoming the premier resource in Texas for art and artifacts of local music history from the 1800s thru today, illustrating its impact on local, national, and international culture.

We feature historical exhibits, host local artists and musicians, work shops, speaker panel discussions, art exhibitions, and more!

Originally established in 2012 by Austin/San Antonio music journalist and creative muse Margaret Moser, TexPop was created to preserve and document San Antonio and South Texas music, art and pop culture, with an emphasis on the 50s through the 80s.

Under our new leadership the museum has expanded in both its mission and programming with events and exhibits that specifically reflect a diverse San Antonio community.

TexPop operates as a 501(c)3 nonprofit under the auspices of the Phogg Foundation.
